Intro to Clay Shooting

NRA certified Shotgun Instructors will be teaching an introduction to shotgun basics. These basics include safety, use, storage, firing, cleaning, gauge types, ammo types, operations, handling, and shooting of the shotguns provided at the Clay Target Center. The class will be at the Clay Target Center pavilion and will have a 3 hour block of instruction, break for lunch and then 3 hours on the range.

The package includes gun rental, 4 boxes of ammo, 4 rounds of 25 targets each, and PPE. Instruction on the range for shooting. Trap/Skeet basic instruction for beginners.

This course is open to the public and is limited to 10 people. First come first serve. It will be held every 3rd Saturday of each month. Rain date is the following Sunday. There is no NRA affiliation or will there be any certification or license issued or granted at the end of the instruction. It is a basic shotgun introduction and a Trap/Skeet learning opportunity. The first class will be held 17 October 2020, 10 a.m. 

Age requirement: must be at least 8 years of age.
