EFMP SibShop

Location: Soldier and Family Readiness Group Center

Siblings, 8 years of age and older who have Family members with special needs, are encouraged to join EFMP Family Support and North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance for a Sibshop. Enhance your own support network while having fun, playing games and having the discussions others just don’t quite get. (Parents are required to stay on site with their children.)

• Meet other siblings who understand your situation.
• Share stories with others who “get it”.
• Discuss the good and the not-so-good parts of having a sibling with support needs. 
• Explore how other siblings handle sticky situations they sometimes have to face.

Open to DoD ID Cardholders and military Families with loved ones with special needs.
