1. Sign up at: Beanstack
2. Select Register an Individual or Family button.
3. Register yourself or a child.
4. Enroll in the Reading Program for the appropriate reader’s age group.
5. Optional: register additional children.
Log your reading time to win prizes!
1. Sign in with your Beanstack account.
2. Click on Log Reading.
3. Select the Readers Name for their virtual reading log.
4. Select the date for which you are logging your reading time.
5. Enter time spent reading in hours (example: 2h) or minutes (example: 33m).
6. Click on Log.

Open to all ages!
Excitement and fun await those who journey to Throckmorton Library and participate in the 2024 Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme of Read, Renew, Repeat features the idea of conservation. Conservation as a movement focuses on protecting species from extinction, maintaining, and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and protecting biological diversity. Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diverse summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation.
In addition to reading great books, library patrons can win prizes for reaching their reading goals and can participate in exciting programs. During June and July, we will host a range of free in person and virtual activities for children, teens, and adults to encourage and support a love of reading.
