Join us for the 28th Annual Fort Liberty 10 Miler! This event is open to the general public; all ages are welcome. Pets are not allowed; strollers are welcome.
All registered participants receive a finisher’s medal, t-shirt, custom bib* and beverage of choice. Category placements will receive a custom coin.
* You must register by October 13, 2024 to get your name on your bib.

If I’m not Military, what do I need to do to access post?

This event is open to the public. If you do not have a valid Department of Defense ID card, you must obtain a visitor’s pass for installation access. Pass may be obtained through pre-registration online at the following link: FORT_LIBERTY_VISITOR_PASS_MYA.pdf (army.mil). It is recommended that visitors submit pass applications 24 hours in advance of their planned visit. For more information on visitor access, please visit the following site: Visitor Access Center :: Fort Liberty (army.mil).

Can I register at Packet Pick-up?

Yes

 

When/where is Packet Pick-up?

Friday, November 1st from 8:00am to 7:00pm at the Fort Liberty Fairgrounds (1500 Howell St, across from CIF)

 

I am unable to attend Packet Pick-up, can I pick my bib up on race day?

Yes, you can pick up your bib at the Information Tent located in the finish fest area on race day

 

I am unable to attend Packet Pick-up, where can I get my shirt?

You can pick up your shirt at the Information Tent located in the finish fest area on race day

 

Can I have someone else pick up my packet for me?

Yes, they must bring a copy of your valid Government issued ID and/or confirmation email to pick up your packet in your name. If you registered with a military discount please ensure that whoever is picking up for you has a copy of your DoD ID Card and/or confirmation email

 

What are the awards this year?

  • Overall individual male, female, and wheelchair will receive a trophy
  • Top 3 open/male division, female division, and coed division will receive a trophy; each individual on team will receive a coin
  • Age Group Awards are a custom 2024 Age Group Coin

  • Live results are available via QR Code posted at event site

  • A direct link to the results will be posted on the Fort Liberty MWR Facebook page and sent via email

 

Where is medical located?

Medical will be located on the route and at the end of the finisher’s chute

 

Where can I find a course map?

Can I still run if I did not register?

No, you may not

 

Will there be water and electrolyte on the course?

Both water and electrolyte will be provided

 

How many water points are there?

There are three water points, each has electrolyte and water

 

Will there be a gear check?

There is no gear check, please leave all personal items in your car. We cannot hold onto any personal items

 

When/where does the race start?

8 am on Long St. across from Hedrick Stadium

 

Where can I park on race day?

Suggested parking is at Callahan Fitness Center, the Main Post Chapel, or Womack Medical Center. Please remember the race route will be closed as of 6:00am on Saturday, November 1st, this may affect your route to event parking. You can locate a parking map under Race Day Details

 

When does the race end?

All runners must be done NLT 11 am

 

Are strollers and baby joggers allowed?


Strollers are allowed. If you are using a stroller, please line up towards the back of the corral

 

Are pets allowed?


No, pets are not allowed
