- Preschool Storytime:
- Tuesdays at 10 am and 10:45 am
- For ages 3-5 years
- Join us for a developmentally and age appropriate story time designed especially for you and your preschooler! This interactive story time helps build early literacy skills, and helps to prepare your child for kindergarten. These storytimes are filled with songs, flannel stories, books, rhymes and of course lots of fun!
- Toddler Storytime:
- Wednesdays at 10 am and 10:45 am
- For ages 12-36 months
- Join us for storytime that has your toddler in mind! This story time will help to build early literacy skills through songs, flannel stories, books, rhymes and of course lots of fun!
- Baby Lapsit Storytime:
- Thursdays at 10 am
- For ages 8 weeks - 11 months
- Parents and babies interact during story time, helping to build early literacy skills. Storytimes are filled with songs, finger plays, rhymes and of course lots of tickles!
Location: Throckmorton Library
Storytimes help foster a child's development through books, songs, and movement activities. In storytime, children will have many opportunities to practice and master skills that are key to growing a lifelong learner. Parent/Caregivers will learn tips and tricks to practice at home to continue the learning process.
