Storytime Program

Location: Throckmorton Library

Storytimes help foster child's development. In storytime, children will have many opportunities to practice and master skills that are key to growing a lifelong reader. Parent/caregivers will learn tips and tricks of things they can do at home to continue the learning process.

  • Preschool Storytime:
    • Tuesdays at 10 am and 10:45 am
    • For ages 3-5 years
    • Join us for a developmentally and age appropriate story time designed especially for you and your preschooler! This interactive story time helps build early literacy skills, and helps to prepare your child for kindergarten. These story times are filled with songs, flannel stories, books, rhymes and of course lots of fun!
  • Toddler Storytime:
    • Wednesdays at 10 am and 10:45 am
    • For ages 12-36 months
    • Join us for story time that has your toddler in mind! This story time will help to build early literacy skills through songs, flannel stories, books, rhymes and of course lots of fun!
  • Baby Lapsit Storytime:
    • Thursdays at 10 am
    • For ages 8 weeks - 11 months
    • Parents and babies interact during story time, helping to build early literacy skills. Story times are filled with songs, finger plays, rhymes and of course lots of tickles!
