Throckmorton 25th Anniversary Celebration

Join us to celebrate 25 years of Throckmorton Library serving the soldiers and their families on Fort Bragg.

This celebration will feature a library theme storytime, activities, games, music and special guests.

Open to DoD ID Cardholders. All ages welcome.

This year we celebrate the 25^th birthday of the Throckmorton Library.  Is this library an important part of your life?  Do you have a favorite library memory? Use this memory or love the library to inspire a Throckmorton Library – based piece of art.  The building, books, programs, customers we serve or even the fish tank are all part of what makes our library special.  Whatever subject you choose, as long as it is connected to Throckmorton Library, will be fantastic! Happy creating!

Who: Open to all ages

How: Drop the art off at the main desk. Call for alternate arrangements.

When: Entries must be received by Sept. 23^rd as a jpeg digital file or the original can be dropped off at the main desk.  (Original will be returned at the end of the contest).

Rules:

• Artwork must be original; no tracing or copycat ideas from other artwork
• Entries must be no larger than 16 by 22
• You can use any form of art medium i.e. ink, pencil: graphite or colored, charcoal, chalk, crayon, marker, paint: acrylic, oil, watercolor
• On the back of the entries must include a brief description of image, medium and inspiration behind the piece along with artists first and last name, age, phone and contact email.

Prizes: First, Second, and Third Place will be awarded.  Prize is a library sway pack.
