    Owls, Hawks, Falcons, and Vultures, these are common raptors or birds of prey that can be seen in North Carolina. Come out and learn more about these beautiful birds.
  • Bringing Back the Beetles Saturday, August 14, 2021, 10 am
    Did you know that beetles are the largest group in the animal kingdom? They’re also one of the oldest and most diverse! Come learn about some of the most intriguing native beetles we have roaming around our backyards!
  • Spider Prowl Saturday, September 11, 2021, 10 am
    We see spiders everywhere! Come out and learn more about the spiders commonly found in our area and discover more about why they are important.
  • Skulls & Skins Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10 am
    During this program you will get a chance to talk about the wildlife that live here in our forests. We will be taking a closer look at their skulls and the difference in their teeth.
