Location: Smith Lake Beach
A polar bear plunge is a cold-weather winter event. Participants gather at Smith Lake Beach where they all plunge into the water at the same time after a shrill blast from an air horn. All contestants who are registered will receive a Fort Liberty Polar Bear Plunge T-shirt. Warm drinks and warming area will be available.
Cost: $10
Register at Smith Lake office; registration deadline is January 26, 2024.
